Locals Stick up Warning Sign Threatening ‘Killer Clowns’ Who Come to Their Town

“KILLER clowns” are being warned by locals to stalk their town “if you dare”.

They hoisted a banner next to a “welcome” sign after cops vowed the menacing-looking pranksters face arrest if they terrorise people in the street.

Come here if you dare, a banner warns ‘killer clowns’

It comes months after another unofficial sign there ordering terror group ISIS to keep out.

The latest warning reads: “Welcome to Larkhall. Bring on your killer clowns… if you dare!”

Visitors to the Lanarkshire town were previously greeted with: “Welcome to Larkhall. Except ISIS you t***s can f*** off.”

Police Scotland said yesterday they won’t stand for people joining the sinister US craze that has already hit its big cities.

Superintendent David Duncan said: “We have had a few sporadic reports of individuals dressed as clowns.

“There is a current trend of similar incidents on social media, many of which have been confirmed as hoaxes and emanate from overseas.

“The reports made to local police are being investigated and do not specifically involve threats or violence.

“However, any person seeking to cause distress and potential harm to anyone should be aware that police will take action.

“If anyone has any concerns they should report the matter to police.”
