CNC Machinist, Permanent, £39,000 to £52,000, Permanent Role, Motherwell & Night Shift Available

Responsibilities:

• Nights: Rotational, 8:45pm – 7:00am (£25.35 – £25.61 per hour)
• Produce accurate, high-quality components from customer drawings to required cycle times
• Maintain efficient, cost-effective production standards
• Identify and implement improvements to production and manufacturing methods
• Communicate effectively across departments
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards

Requirements:

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or significant experience as a Turner
• Proficient in using Fanuc controls across machines such as vertical borers, lathes, mill turns, and 5-axis lathes
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
• Knowledge of SPC and lean manufacturing practices
• Good PC skills
