Electrician Edinburgh, £40,000 – £50,000 per annum DOE, + £57,000 OTE Paid Travel Time | Unlimited Overtime | Company Van Package | Company Pension

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join a growing and well-established facilities management team covering commercial sites across Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for long-term stability, strong earning potential, and opportunities for career progression within a supportive engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial sites

• Work on lighting systems, power distribution, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems

• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently

• Ensure all work complies with current electrical and health & safety regulations

• Maintain accurate service records using a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)

• Liaise professionally with clients to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes

Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship, such as SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services is desirable but not essential
• Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with clients
