Industrial Cleaning Operative, Temp to Perm, Motherwell, Depot-Based with Travel Across Scotland, £14.00 per hour (PAYE)

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Carry out industrial cleaning of pipework, castings, and assemblies
• Work with hazardous chemicals to remove contaminants safely
• Operate within strict health and safety guidelines at all times
• Travel to client sites across Scotland as required
• Support depot-based cleaning operations when not on-site
• Ensure all equipment is used, maintained, and stored correctly
• Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding, hands-on role
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Background in labouring, industrial cleaning, chemicals, or engineering (desirable)
• Safety passport and forklift licence (desirable, not essential – training provided)
• Willingness to travel and work across different environments
