Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Bias, £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, Primarily Glasgow and the West of Scotland)

Responsibilities

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial and commercial equipment
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and mechanical systems
• Service, maintain, and repair:
  • Centrifugal pumps
  • Submersible pumps
  • Progressive cavity pumps
  • Air-operated diaphragm pumps
  • Booster sets
  • Inverters
  • Associated control systems
• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards
• Attend customer sites across Scotland to provide technical support and maintenance services
• Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately

Requirements

• Proven experience in a mechanical and electrical maintenance or service engineering role
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working with pumps, control systems, inverters, and associated industrial equipment
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
• Good understanding of both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance practices
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible approach to travel and participation in the on-call rota
