We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Payable Assistant to join a growing and supportive finance team. This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity, offering flexibility within the working day and the chance to secure a long-term position.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function, supporting financial operations through accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Processing and managing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment

Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving discrepancies

Maintaining organised and up-to-date vendor files and records

Assisting with month-end closing procedures

Preparing and submitting reports to management

Liaising with vendors and internal departments to resolve queries

Supporting the wider finance team with additional accounting duties as required
Requirements

1–2 years’ experience in accounts payable or general accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
