Responsibilities
- Location: Glasgow Central Belt, Fife & Ayrshire (with occasional travel across England)
- Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
- Perform fault finding, planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), and repairs on plant machinery
- Conduct inspection and testing of dust and fume extraction systems and exhaust ventilation
- Maintain and troubleshoot drives and control systems
- Accurately log and manage all tasks using a PDA system
- Travel to multiple sites across the assigned regions
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance engineering, including fault finding and repair
- Knowledge of plant machinery and ventilation or extraction systems
- Experience working with drives and control systems is desirable
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Good organisational skills and confidence using PDA or digital job systems
- Flexibility to travel and work away when required
